Christina Pechmann Gotter, LMT
I grew up in the Madison area stacking bricks and sweeping floors with my family at Pechmann Memorials. While I remain in Madison, I now aim to help heal those around me with a gentle touch.
At a young age, I had no answers to help me deal with muscle and joint pain, headaches, and poor sleep due to a connective tissue disorder and hypermobility. Fortunately for me, acupuncture provided welcome relief, and I began to listen more to my body. Pursuing massage as well as yoga as forms of healing have expanded that relief tremendously. While I worked alongside talented acupuncturist Matthew Warnke for over seven years, I hope to now provide another aspect of healthcare to the Madison and Janesville areas through bodywork.
I graduated from East West Healing Arts Institute in 2014, and have since completed FMT (Functional Movement Taping) 1 & 2 as well as PMT (Performance Movement Techniques) through RockTape. I have also completed MFR1 with John Barnes. In 2017 I attended Anatomy Trains: In Structure and Function. I am fascinated by the role that fascia plays in our well-being, and I will continue to study the evolving knowledge of the body as I expand my skills.
